The Triumph TR3A was a British sports car produced from 1957 to 1962 by the Standard Motor Company of Coventry, England. A traditional open two-seater, the TR3A was developed from the company’s successful TR3 model and featured several improvements including better braking, a full-width front grille, exterior door handles, and a lockable boot handle.
The car featured in our drawing was one of four TR3As prepared for the 1958 rally season, and had its final outing in the 1958 Tour de France rally which it sadly failed to finish, retiring with brake problems.
