The MGA name was coined by the head of the MG Car Company, John Thornley and was so named as it was considered the first of a new line of MGs. The MGA was produced in Abingdon, England from 1955 and 1962 and replaced the MG TF 1500 Midget. More than 100,000 MGAs were sold with the majority being exported. The car was available both as a roadster and a coupe. Our illustration shows a 1962 Mark II Coupe finished in Aqua with steel disc wheels.
An ideal gift or a treat for yourself, or any MGA enthusiast, perfect for the office, living room, den or garage!
