Few classic car enthusiasts will fail to appreciate the Shelby AC Cobra. With a 7 litre V8 upfront this was a real muscle car. Whilst the cars wasn’t commercially successful in its heyday, these days original cars sell for up to $6 million. The iconic Shelby Cobra also inspired a wide range of replicas and kit cars over the years.

This drawing shows the car in sporting livery prepared for the 1965 season although it never actually raced as the car failed to meet homologation requirements.
