The Mini was arguably the most influential British car of the 20th century. Designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and launched in 1959, the mini was in production for over 40 years. In the wake of the Suez crisis in 1956, the market for German bubble cars increased dramatically but Leonard Lord, the head of the British Motor Corporation, hated them so much he laid down the basic specification for the Mini. From being a small shopping trolley type of car, the mini became the choice of celebrities over the world and its popularity in the classic car world remains to this day.

The 1969 film The Italian Job, cemented the mini’s place in cinema history. In 1992, special editions of the Mini LE model were introduced. Available in 4 colours Blue, British Racing Green, White and Flame Red, they featured a 1275cc engine and a dashboard layout similar to the earlier 1275GT model.

An ideal gift or a treat for yourself, or any Mini enthusiast, perfect for the office, living room, den or garage!
