Enzo Ferrari once said that the Jaguar E-type was the most beautiful car in the world and many agree with him. The E-type (known as the XK-E in North America) was based on the company's highly-successful D-type racer and was produced between 1961 and 1974. At launch, it was claimed to have a top speed of 150mph and 0-60 time of less than 7 seconds - impressive for the early 1960s and this is probably why it was considered for racing.
Several modified models were produced, and this illustration shows a one-off low drag coupe that was raced at the 1964 1000km race at the Murburgring by Peter Lindner and Peter Nocker.
This illustration is finished in silver and features a racing number.
An ideal gift or a treat for yourself, or any Jaguar enthusiast, perfect for the office, living room, den or garage!
