Few car enthusiasts would fail to recognise the classic lines of the Ford GT40.  The car was built originally to beat Ferrari at Le Mans after Ford’s failed attempt to take over the Italian company - a battle that was made famous by the 2019 film “Ford vs Ferrari” also known as “Le Mans ’66” in some places.

The car succeeded in its goal, ending Ferrari’s winning streak in 1966. It went on to win in 1968 and 1969 in Gulf colours – we also have a print available in these colours. Why was it named the Ford GT40? Because it was 40 inches high!

This drawing shows the car in white with the classic blue stripe running the length of the car and includes a helmet design in keeping with the period.

An ideal gift or a treat for yourself, or any GT40 enthusiast, perfect for the office, living room, den or garage!

Print size: A3 (420mm x 297mm) printed on 170gsm white silk paper.

Delivered in a strong cardboard postal tube, ready to hang or be framed.
